Musculoskeletal Pain
How is Chims Treatment effective in treating the musculoskeletal pain?
We mostly experience nerve abnormalities when the endorphine, the pain-relieving substance, stops working due to the problems in sensory nerves. While myofascial pain syndrome is another common nerve abnormality, I would like to address here the relevance between Chims Treatment and tender points.
The word ‘tender’ in tender points refer to the tenderness one experiences when the tender points are pressed. They may feel tender when a part of the body is overused or bruised.
In the area of pain or inflammation, free radicals — equivalent to 1/1000 of the light of a firefly — are generated. They are called bio-photons.
When the light generated from the area of pain is retro-reflected (back to the area of pain), it creates a phenomenon of mutual resonance. Due to the same range of wavelengths, the light can penetrate deeply into wound, stimulating the corresponding sensory nerves until the pain is completely removed.
The therapeutic effectiveness, safety and efficacy of the Chims Band treatment were confirmed by The Study on the Analgesic Effect of Chims Band after Endoscopic Shoulder Surgery, conducted under supervision of the Korean Ministry of Food and Drug Safety and received the support of Dongshin University Oriental Medicine Hospital, Gwangju, Korea.
The study proves that the stimulation of sensory nerves by using the light of the body can activate endorphin, the analgesic substance.
* Chims Treatment is not applicable unless you can identify the pain area. Examples are as follows:
- If you have a lower back pain, but can’t identify the pain area, the problem might be found in kidneys.
- If you have a pain in the thighs and calves, but can’t identify the pain area, you may be experiencing stenosis, disc herniation, or compression of the piriformis muscle.
- If your have a shoulder pain, but can’t identify the pain area, there may be a problem with the gallbladder. Or uou may be experiencing a cervical disc.)
While the Chims Treatment cannot treat the diseases like cancer and diabetes, it is effective for other pains that accompany the disesases.
Self-diagnosis
How to identify the pain area
Place your finger in perpendicular to the body part where you think pain is, and press down firmly. When you feel a muscle or bone ligament at the tip of your finger, gently rub the skin to narrow down the affected area.
The wider the identified pain area is, the more severe the symptoms are. It is therefore important to press all parts around the affected area before attaching Chims Band.
Example) Pain in the joint on the palm
Examples of self-treatment
Treating more than one symptom simultaneously
In Chims Treatment, it is important to normalize the overall activity of endorphins. If neurotransmitters are balanced, the endorphin activity will return to normal, resulting in the improvement of other symptoms.
Normalization of the endorphin activity is specially crucial in treating the elderly, who are likely to experience multiple symptoms; the typical case is chronic rheumatism accompanied by sleep disorder.
If self-treatment of the above areas is not sufficient, it is strongly recommended to check out the Neurological Disease in the menu and treat other diseases simultaneously.
How to use
-
01. Chims Band (tape) treatment
Attach Chims Band to identified areas of pain.
* Caution: Chims Band may cause skin allergies.
* It is recommended to apply Chims Band for a few more days even after the symptoms improve because there are cases where pain is latent.

02. Chims Wear treatment
Chims Wear is a product designed to assist people who need a long-term treatment of stress-related symptoms. The product, because it does not require attachment to the skin like Chims Band, is also recommended for people who have weak skin or hairy skin.
